Arturo Giovanoli has become Partner of Matrixs Ltd. early 2008. He has extensive experience in the M&A/Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance and Business Ethics and Consulting fields. Additionally he also has profound expertise in process analysis and reengineering and in special issues audits.

From 1985 till 1995 he worked with Ernst & Young AG in Zurich in the audit department and in 1988/89 on a secondment in an insurance company in Toronto, Canada. From 1992 onwards he was responsible as a Swiss Chartered Acountant for the audit and consulting for various financial institutions in- and outside Switzerland.

In 1996 he changed to the M&A/Corporate Finance department of the same company. As a senior consultant and member of the management committee he was responsible for the market segment financial services. During his stay till the end of 2000 he worked on domestic and international assignments covering various industries, such as financial services, insurance, real estate, software (distribution and content providers), aerospace, packaging, non-food, manufacturing, biotechnology, private label manufacturing, engineering, construction materials, logistics and non-ferrous metals.

At the beginning of 2001 he started his independent career in providing advisory services in the M&A/ Corporate Finance area for small and medium size enterprises. At the end of 2004 he was one of the co-founder of the Certifica AG Zurich, – a company providing audit services – where he acted as a Managing Partner during the start-up phase till the beginning of 2007. In 2005 he joined the Ally Management Group AG, Zurich as a Partner were he worked on various restructuring and refinancing projects as a consultant and/or as an interim-manager.

Additionally to the diploma as a Swiss Chartered Accountant, he holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Applied Ethics of the University of Zurich and is a member of the Swiss Chamber of Auditors.
